Relaxing in Cleveland

Since there is a Small Craft Warning for today and the waves are 3-5 feet on our beam (side of the boat), we stayed another day in Cleveland. I caught up on laundry while Fred walked the streets of Cleveland. There weren’t many people out due to COVID-19.

There is a small airport next to the marina.  They have a B-29 that they are flying and it lands right over us. Apparently there are only 2 of them in the world.  B-29 Landing in Cleveland

We did have dinner at the local modern Mexican restaurant with all the Loopers. We had 18 people (9 boats) and, as usual, it was a fun time.

Tomorrow it’s on to Sandusky, OH!

  1. Are any of these “loopers” repeats from previous outings, or do you meet all new people every time?

    1. Good question! It’s been a mix. In Cleveland, of the nine Looper boats, three were new to us. So we had six that we met prior. The people that we met in Brewerton, NY (and had a pizza dinner) are not in our range anymore. Some go faster and others go slower than we do. Some had to sit in the marina waiting for parts and service to install them. And others spend less time at a marina than we do.
