Frankfort, Michigan - Day 2

It was another beautiful day in Michigan. The weather has been in the 70’s with low humidity.

We had a regional delicacy for breakfast this morning - smoked fish!  Cindy and I were leery at first, but once David ate it and liked it, we dug in too (Hey Mikey! He likes it!). We ate it with sour cream and chives. There were three varieties - white fish, salmon, and lake trout.

We went back to the local brewery for lunch. They had a map on the wall where you put a pin in for where you are from.

After lunch, we had farewell ice cream.  We had to say goodbye to Cindy and David after lunch. Sadly their time with us has come to an end.

Just an observation - it’s August 17, and some of the leaves are already starting to turn fall colors.  That also happened this early when we lived in Minnesota.
