Bradenton, Florida

We had a leisurely cruise from Clearwater to Bradenton today. The water was much better and no one needed a nap.

We have had several dolphin sightings.  The first one was in Mobile Bay.  But the sightings have been quick, without enough time to get a picture; however, today several dolphins played in our boat’s wake.

Captain Dave has really gotten into the groove of boating.

We arrived at a very nice marina, however they don’t have WiFi by our slip.
So, under the heading of “You don’t expect this”, they offered that the
power posts have an Ethernet connection that we can plug into.  Really … ?!
I don’t know about you, but we don’t have an Ethernet cable on board. 🙄

Then we heard a noise that sounded like “snap, crackle, pop”.
The sound was all around the outside of the boat.
Fortunately Captain Dave came to the rescue again
when he suggested that it might be snapping shrimp.
I guess we’ll be living with this for a couple of days. 😌

We ventured out and found a restaurant.

Walking back to the boat, we were able to see the lighted Christmas decorations:

And a beautiful sunset

This is a manatee.  They are in the Florida waters.

And, of course, Taurus.
By the way, THAT’S a piling. 😆
