Charleston, SC to Georgetown, SC

Today we left Charleston and cruised 7 hours to Georgetown, still South Carolina. The terrain has changed here to more marsh grass in vast quantities.

For awhile, we led the pack of Loopers

We came to the floating swing bridge.  The bridge is on a barge and they move it into place as needed for land traffic.

Georgetown is the third oldest city in South Carolina. The historic district is right by our marina, so we have a day here tomorrow. We are looking forward to seeing the town.

Here’s the piling when we got here today. It was another two feet to low tide.

And tonight’s sunset
