On Thursday, April 14, we had a short cruise to Beaufort, SC. We visited the museum with the history of Beaufort (pronounced Bue-fort by the way 🙉).
We didn’t have time to tour any homes, so we got ice cream and went back to the boat. They have a 9 ft. tidal range here. This is why that for the past few days all the marinas have had floating docks. You can really see the tide coming in. A 9 ft. tidal range comes in fast

| And here are the pilings with the tide out. See all the oyster shells attached that are generally underwater? |
| We did get to visit the history museum which is the old arsenal |
| After the museum we walked around town on our own. |
We found the first black church in Beaufort
